One of the best things, in my opinion, about Kampala is the roadside plant nurseries. While driving down some of the dirtiest and most polluted city streets we have ever seen, suddenly the sides of the road will be filled with beautiful plants, flowers, and trees, all for sale. It's one of the little hidden pleasures.
